Enrichment Matters Classes
SilverBrook Elementary is excited to offer an after school enrichment program for its students! We have three exciting sessions planned - Fall, Winter and Spring- with lots of great classes to choose from in each one. On this site you'll find all the information about program procedures, class descriptions and details you need to participate. Whether you are looking for sports, drama, arts and crafts, technology, science or hobbies, there's something here for everyone. REGISTRATION DATES (Spring 2020): March 3rd - March 20th
Tae Kwon Do with Life Champ Martial Arts (grades K-6)
This unique course known as the ACE Program is a 5-session character development program that incorporates physical exercise with life skill lessons. This innovative series of classes is designed to not only introduce your child to basic martial arts but to also improve concentration, listening skills, cooperation and courtesy. It will benefit your child at home, at school, and in team sports.
MEETING DAYS: THURSDAYS, 3:45 - 4:45pm
PROGRAM DATES: April 2, April 16, April 23, April 30, & Friday May 1st @ Life Champ Martial Arts
TUITION: $25 for 5 meetings
Chess Club with US Chess Center (grades 2-6)
Chess club combines skill-appropriate lessons with adequate time for the students to practice and play. Students are grouped by chess ability so that all are challenged. All that is required is a desire to learn! The club philosophy places a low priority on winning. Instead, students will focus on improving their skills. Good sportsmanship is the key to having fun.
